This artist’s gaze focused on the people who work in the holding company, but indiscriminately in terms of their corporate importance or status. The number of portraits produced in a short, but extraordinarily intense working period, suggest a reality that is quite distinct from oil painting, la bella maneira, which is, surprisingly, the defunct technique that the artist chose. It’s more reminiscent of a photo shoot, that aims to capture the mechanics of reality.
